Deloraine Community Child Development Program is a non-profit organization located in the Deloraine community of Kenya, Africa. The trustees are local residents, representing different areas within the community. Our goal is to integrate community developments with accessing knowledge and improving the livelihoods of our community through education. It was formed to oversee the raising of funds to be used for projects that fall under the program and ensure that funds raised are used for their intended purposes.
Current Projects

Feeding Program
Feeding children is one of the primary focuses of our program. We prepare porridge, rice, and beans for the children, but this is currently only done at one branch. We're seeking donations to extend this initiative to the other two branches, ensuring that all our children have access to a balanced diet that will improve their health and ability to learn.

Proposed Classroom
Our program comprises three branches, each with a single classroom. These classrooms are semi-permanent structures that become very hot in the summer and extremely cold in the winter. We are raising funds to construct permanent classrooms that adhere to the standards set by the Ministry of Education in Kenya. These new classrooms will feature stone walls and either painted roof sheets or ceilings.

Water Installation
None of our schools have access to clean water supplies, particularly for drinking. While government water sources pass by our schools, we must incur costs to connect them to our classrooms. Additionally, we aim to install rain gutters and storage tanks to harness rainwater for drinking purposes.
